0904 - SSR Reading Book Title reported - will be used for first outside reading book assignment
0913 - Geography Test
Stations - Each station activity below is allowed about 20 - 25 minutes in class until all stations are complete in class. If a student does not finish the work from a station that day, he/she should continue to work on that work as homework that night. Students may also work ahead on specific assignments to complete all steps of an assignment due at the end of the week.

1 - 0907 - Read SS7 Ch 23 Mayans - take notes on an 8 block note sheets as follows - explain three concepts, and give definitions for seven key terms.
2 - 0906 - Complete Spelling Unit 1 (used for standardized test prep)
2 - 0907 - Spelling Test Unit 1
3 - 0907 - Journal - What if I lived in 200 CE - advantages and disadvantage
4 - Poetry - Sequence A:
a. Copy poem by hand - include title, author, book found in, and page number
b. Practice Reading out loud - volume, pacing, eye contact, body language
c. Use a dictionary to look up complex vocabulary necessary to understand the poem overall. You may also use Google to see if the poem has an interpretation online.
5 - World Map Practice sequence. Draw one map on 8-1/2 x 14 paper, then two at on 11x17 before we get our 40 cent per page 12x18 watercolor paper for the final draft this Friday.
